1993 cougar front end noise

ok i got a 93 cougar with the 3.8 in it and every time i hit a bump in the road it makes a load banging and rattling sound like its metal to metal. i dont know if it the lower control arm bushing or some other kind of bushings. i know some one on here knows what im talkin about because it seams like all the cougars around that year sounds the same when they hit bumps
