Airfix model reviews?
Sorry if this is the wrong section to be asking for a review, but after seeing some awesome 1/24 DBR9 builts on the forum, i couldnt resist getting one myself, until I found out the kit will set me back £150 plus PE, decals etc.
So after searching on the net, i found Airfix does a 1/32 scale DBR9 (much smaller and but with a small price tag as well so the question comes to mind is how good are airfix models and anyone attempted their kits? esp the DBR9 kit and could give a comment? thank you |

Re: Airfix model reviews?
I would bet money this kit is based on the Scalextric slot car as was Airfix's Mclaren mp4/21. The body and marking are nicely done but the interior has some compromises for clearance of the slot car chassis. The wheels and tires are nicely done with Tampo printed lettering on the tires.

Re: Airfix model reviews?
So the car pre-painted? and decal pre-applied? booo
was hoping it was was the 'usual' airfix style where it comes in un painted form. since it only about £10 or so, will prob buy it and do my own review thanks for contribution none the less *edit..just checked the box art, it requires painting so will prob be in a 'blank' state
