who has a interior lay out for a 2000 silverado crew cab? The one with the suicide doors. I am missing the piece in the head rest.

with the 2000 silverado 1500 4X4 you will have the 3.73 eaton locking rear differential.. this is a good unit because it locks solid when and only when slippage occurs ...when you operate in 2WD high you have only 1 wheel drive.... this has little drive train wear...
never operate this vehicle in ANY 4WD selection when on dry solid pavement, this will damage the drive train...
replace all drivetrain fluids 30-40,ooomi ..you will not have any problems ...
when the snow falls the auto 4WD selection is all I use.. this automaticly engages the locked front axle to the rear axle when the speed sensor detects wheel slippage, you will not feel the engagement is is smooth IF all the componets are working correctly..
when in auto 4WD the front axle locks so this is why you don't use this on the solid dry pavement ...
all tires must be rotated and be of the same wear ...the greater the difference in wear the sooner you will have drivetrain failures !
