'00 Camry 4 Cyl loosing power

I had a problem with the car, narrowed it down to a burnt valve #3 cyl. Car was running poorly and sort of oscillating. Compression check told the story. Pulled the head, put it back together and all it fine. But...... 3 of the cylinders I use to get 190-195 compression and the bad one I got 90. So now I have an even 170 all the way across. Hmmmm? Guess it could be the gasket. Different thickness than the stocker. And by the way, check your valves once in a while, a tight one caused the burnt one for me. It happens over a period of time, not a few weeks or a few hundred miles.

So now I'm not buying that the 170 is the problem. The engine still feels like it is "flat" and slightly oscillates when you're driving it. Just doesn't have the zap. I think it has something to do with maybe a valve or timing issue not working right. Anybody have the same thing and found out maybe where to look? I know it's a pretty generic question cause it could be allot of things, but was just wondering.
