Oil pressure guage not working.

The oil pressure guage is not working on my '96 F-150. All other guages work fine. It just had a fresh oil change, and it runs fine with out any problems. The guage is stuck in the same position where it is when the truck is off (before it reaches the low mark). Any idea what could cause it not to work?

Re: Oil pressure guage not working.

Oil pressure sending unit may need replacing. Should be able to get from any auto parts house.

Re: Oil pressure guage not working.

Replaced the oil pressure switch today & that took care of the problem.
