Intrested in where you sourced the Tremec dogbox from and how it has performed shiftwise and generally compared to synchro unit?

Gary Jones had the transmission built for me when the car was in Georgia, I'm sure he can point you in the right direction regarding a source.
Shift speed is improved dramatically over the synchro unit but I find that downshifting can be unforgiving if you don't carefully control your r's.
The thought of giving up the car is painful but my oldest kid was just accepted to a San Francisco private school and the 2nd kid is not far behind..

This car has now clocked one test day since its new motor was installed. Mechanicals as new.
