Air Conditioner

I have a 1997 Maxima. While driving on warm days the air won't stay cold. It seems as if the air compressor stops working for awhile, then turns back on. So the air will be cool, then warm, then cool, then warm, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Oxidized connector(s), bad ctrl module/thermostat ? etc

If u want to know if/when the cooler ctrl works (to figure out if compressor works), then add /tape a test lamp on the dash ... route a thin wire (just let it hang 'through' bonnet/door frame) to the compressor pwr suply connector (only one pin), another to ground. Now u can see tst lamp ON - every time when compressor gets powr.

Start from checking supply voltage; 14.2V att batt while engine running...

See link below, air con page.
