200k!

My daughter rolled 200K on my Rodeo today!! Bought it in '98 for 17K with 27K.

No gas in the tank...figures! Original fuel pump, though!

Original 3.2L engine and 4L-30E trans! She has survived running hot when I was going through a coolant leak issue when my oldest daughter was driving her and the coolant temp gauge wasn't working. That included a 1500 mile drive back to FL from CT and a trip cross peninsula to Miami and back. I think we've driven this Rodeo to New England and back 3 or 4 times. She's on her third radiator. I have done three AT filter changes and a few more partial AT fluid swaps. She's on her second alternator and third starter. She is being used by the second daughter for school and work travel and has the mailbox ding on the hood to prove it. I don't want to talk about the rear end job or the Rodeo versus my bike in the driveway incidents. The timing belt has been done twice (should never have done it at 60K, but the belt on my Jetta had just broken at 61K!). Original suspension and rotors (How the hell DO you break those carrier bolts free?!). I've changed several window regulators and the TPS (ugh!) and IAC valve. Several brake pad changes. A roof rack foot has broken on the last two drives to New England; both times deep in the night in the heart of the Deep South. She has seen every state on the Eastern Seaboard except ME. She survived Hurricane Charley 8/13/04, suffering only minor scratches as the aluminum flat roof over our lanai glanced off her side.

She's been a great vehicle for us. Expect to drive her awhile more! She's not going to New England Saturday, though. It'll be just me and the son in the Jeep!
