I have Chevy Tahoe 2007, and the connector for rear defrost in the rear window is loose.
Somebody knows how can I re-solder the connector to the glass and get working again the rear defrost? Dealer said change the whole glass !!!. Thanks:

Re: Re-solder defrost connector in Rear WIndow
It all depends on how and where it is broken.
If you can see the wire on both sides where it is broke give it a try. Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

then tape the lug to hold it there ..until it sets up totally ..then I would put some duct tape to try to protect this from further damage.. if the grid circuit had a break in it there are conductive paints that I have used to repair these small runs in the glass..your problem is however in a bad area.. |
