I don't use clearcoat on solid colors. I only clearcoat metallics. I know that this is against the common wisdom, but most of the cars that i build were never clearcoater in real world either.

I finished the interior. Both parts that were not done yet. Seatbelts are from my parts box and adhesive backed cloth material coloured with a felt tip pen.







And the almost necessary mock-up picture with wheels.

Finished the chassis. I only sanded tires where they can be seen on the finished model. There is still more than 0,5mm step after a lot of sanding, but it can't be seen after the bodywork is installed.

I got the body paint polished and applied decals. Gulf blue-orange is certainly one of the all time great liveries on a race car. Makes even this car look good IMO.
