'01 A4 with radio issues, and no one can tell me an answer..

Hello,
I have an '01 A4 Q w/ Audi Symphony-Bose and the radio has been sporadic. The HU acts like it is dead, so I pull the radio fuse (either the one on the back of the HU or the one in the fuse box) that are not blown, reinsert it and the radio will work until you turn the ignition off again.

So I called two local car audio shops and one said it was a bad HU, so I bought a new one, same result. The other one said it sounded like I had blown speakers, which the fronts were, so I replaced them, same result. Finally, bought a new Bose amp and the issue is still the same. Anothing weird thing about it is that I have never seen it go into SAFE mode and ask for a radio code with either HU, even when I replaced the battery.

Has anyone ever heard of something like this and/or have any kind of suggestion for me? Thanks in advance!
