Martini Porsche 936-78 driven by Jacky Ickx
I have fought with this car as most as long as I did the Schnitzer 635CSi. The decals were very yellowed and I bleached them in the window for over a week. It helped a lot, but they are still showing some yellowing on the car. I think it will get worse, so this one will probably get some weathering to try to hide that. The paint pulled off in front of the left headlight when I masked the headlight bucket. It must be something with this car becasue, I found a picture of the real car and it also has damage there.
I have a few places to touch up that are covered with decals like the fuel fillers. I'll do it...eventually. I'm very happy with the way this car turned out considering the simple design of the kit and the design for an electric motor.Oh yeah... I HAD to add the Jacky Ickx figure. :boogie: Rob ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
