97 Galant End Clutch

Is replacing the end clutch kit something that can be done by myself and if so....does anybody know where I can order the kit?

O/D just quit and free wheels.

You can get it from Mitsubishi. It isn't too bad just make sure you swap over the pressure port plugs from the old to the new. Also, getting the clutch lined up is a bit of a pain.

Is this done with the transmission still in vehicle or do I have to pull the transmission out?

You can do it with it in the car. It is a bit tight but not terribly so. You have to use RTV for a gasket so that adds a little fun to the party.
