Exclamation 92 quad4 idles good but stalls dumping pedal or cuts off at certain rpm

i have a 92 2.3l quad 4 "i think SOHC" 8th digit in vin is 3.recently changed battery, plugs, wires, map sensor, tps sensor.have a dry rotted hose that connects to right side of a maybe 4x4 black box right on top, front of motor that has a sensor connector on hose and goes into intake manifold i beleive .im told from pontiac dealer it is a pcv heater hose.this hose also has a what the guy called heating element in the hose which looks like a plastic red rod. well this part is $200 and do not want to replace if not needed.so instead i removed the old hose and heating element and connect a new just regular heater hose in its place and left the plug that connect to the old hose hang.
Now The car runs and sounds great at idle speed ,but if you go to ramp up rpms fast the car feels like its getting to much fuel the motor rpms drop and it kinda chuggs and smells like fuel up in the motor and out exhaust, with no fuel spilling anywhere that i have noticed and had car running for an hr with no fire.now when u release gas pedals even after some time of basically i guess flooding the car, it does not die but rpms have to drop really low maybe 400 500(sorry i cant give a spefic number due to not having a rpm gauge) hestitates and returns to normal idle.
Other shut off point is if you very slowly gain rpm's i beleive it to be in the high 2k or low 3k's that i encounter the same prob as before. power and rpm loss, flooding effect, the longer you hold the gas the lower the rpms get . if you slowly back off and gain again seems like after 20mins or so of playing with it the rpms might have gone alil highier but constantly shuts off.
Recently the service engine had turned on after the hr long run but still idles fine. i know i need to try the jumpering the pins to retreive service codes and just found the website on here to reference the codes against and will post them on here as soon as i can,but does anyone maybe know whats wrong with it.also inspected coil pack assembly when changing plugs and wires there was no sign or black marks or streaks very clean and white.Thank you for you time.

Re: 92 quad4 idles good but stalls dumping pedal or cuts off at certain rpm

service codes were 22 and 34 :tps sensor and map sensor . fixed prob though. turns out that a guy i had working on it rewired the low coolent sensor and air compressor sensor .well the the ground for these two share a common ground with the tps sensor and the map sensor. so when he wired a pos volt/amp signal to the ground shared by the tps and map they didnt blow but i guess stop working and go by the cpu default values.so i disconnect the wireing the guy did and car runs fine . even though i got no replies maybe this will help some one
