Question Z06 won't go!

Our 2003 Z06 starts and idles fine it will rev up in neutral but when it is put in 1st gear and let the clutch out it dies. The dash has no warinig or check engine messages but did come up with a message "remove key for 10 sec". Any suggestions where I should start looking for the problem?

Re: Z06 won't go!

I found the problem, the tip-off is the message to remove the key.
If the steering lock is not functioning properly it gives this message, after removing the key and it still is not happy the fuel is shut off at 1.5 MPH.
Hope this can help anyone else that may encounter this problem.
