1999, ford taurs,02 sensor problem
I just bought a 1999 ford taurus sho wagon, runs grea
tryed to get it smogged, it did pass smog, "BUT" the sensor check would not read L1,L2 sensors so the ecm is "seeing" both sensors on one bank, should I replace the ecm? or replace the wire harness? I already have replaced the sensors, no good. I had a friend hook up his scanner and there is zero out put on both sensors Help!! |

Re: 1999, ford taurs,02 sensor problem
Welcome to the forum!
There are a few questions that come to mind. There was never a 1999 (or any year) SHO station wagon. There were some folks that have transplanted the SHO drivetrain and front end on a Taurus wagon. The ones I've seen were for the Gen 2 year range (1992-1995) but none came from the factory this way. Also, what do you mean by sensors L1 and L2? The oxygen sensors will be designated as B1S1, B1S2, B2S1, and B2S2. -Rod |
