I just bought my toyota camry an i knew it didnt start when i bought it. When you try to start it it doesnt do anything. its a 5spd

So you can hear the starter turning the engine over but the engine will not start, right?

Have you checked the timing belt, spark, fuel?

it doesnt turn over, but when you cross it over at the starter it will start

5 speed manual transmission.

On the clutch pedal there should be a switch with two wires. Check the black w/white wire for power with the switch in the crank position (trans in neutral and the pedal out to avoid an accidental start and or mishap). If there is no power than you can focus on the switch and/or the power supply to the switch.

If there is power than depress the clutch pedal and see if there is power at the black wire. No power replace the clutch switch. If there is power than you get to check the starter relay.

Pull the relay. there should be two terminals that are always grounded. One that always has power and one that has neither. The one that has neither is the signal from the ignition switch. You should have power to it only when the key is in the crank position and the clutch pedal depressed.

That should get you started. Let us know what you find.

I put duel in it replaced the spark plugs an wires an the car will still not start
