94 having trouble with trans
i just bought a 94 chevy 4x4. when you go to take off in the truck sometimes it will take off in 2nd or 3rd gear. other times its just fine i have no clue what it is along with that sometimes the speedo goes crazy

I would first get it scanned for codes. This is NOT an OBD II vehicle so you are going to need to take it to a shop to get it scanned, preferably a transmission shop. It sounds like something simple as a speed sensor. Scan it for codes though.
