I have this 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L and it's having alarm issues. When I attempt to unlock the car with the key on the driver side (there's no key lock on the passenger side) the alarm will sound when I open the door. The only way to turn it off is to turn on the car. There is no new lights on the dashboard. However, the door lock actuator motor does not work on the driver side all the others work fine. Also, the tailgate motor is broken. I don't know if this is the cause but I want to eliminate all other options before buying any new parts. I don't know if the car had came with a key fob, because the car is pre-owned.
