There is an mfi control relay instead of fuel pump relay, under left side of dash. I looked at scoupe, there is more than one, don't know if wiring is the same on all of them?
Shouldn't have anything to do with mechanical starter motor. If your saying the starter motor itself won't even crank, check the starter circuit. Make sure the battery has good charge, and the connections are clean and tight.
