I had a strong gas odor in the car last week (03 Caravan Sport) and it felt like I was running out of gas. A mobile mechanic diagnosed it...said that the #5 fuel injector was bad. He was supposed to come back yesterday to fix it, but never showed. GRRRR....
Someone at work told me the car would run fine if we removed that injector. I have found directions to replace the injector...but no diagram of WHERE the injector is. Looks easy enough once we find that.
Also...what are your thoughts on REMOVING it for the time being...will the car run? Is it dangerous?

I really need this car up and running asap. While it's down, I can't get to work and I really cannot afford a big mechanic bill OR to miss work!
