With newer cars the various computers are very integrated with what features and options the car was built with. Trying to retrofit your car with something as seemingly simple as OEM cruise control could get very expensive very quickly, and may never work quite right.

The much less expensive, and probably more safe and reliable approach, would very likely be to go the aftermarket route. If you or someone you know is good with automotive wiring, the installation can look quite good.
