Re: IVECO Turbostar refurbish

IF you ever want to build one italeri turbostar there is some issue that must be absolutely fixed as soon as possible. The main one in my opinion is about the front bumper.Italeri made the miracle to make it deadly out of shape, too long and with much sharper side angles than the real guy.

it should be THIS way..

and we got this from the box..

and it is really strange why this happened cause italeri anyway made a good job with the same part meant for the 190 / Magirus

Basically there is a huge work of sanding to make it much more bubbely and round in the edges, but to do this you will surely hole the plastics, so I filled the inner part with cyiano glue and sprue debrits, to have the material to sand on...

At the same time I also will fit the newest (of course wrinkled) plastic parts on bumper and rebuild the inner part of the radiator grille, that in my previous build I cutted away to open the cabin and show the engine............................................ ............ because I still didnt know Italeri made mistake also there.
The 2 turbos provided are in the mistaken position for a 190-48.....they must be 2, but position in real vehicle is different. Add to this I really dont like today people with big fingers arriving to touch my models, so as usual here, the cabin will be fixed over the (once again) mistaken engine part.

as you can see here, there is no details for the inner side wing parts..

while of course the real vehicle has them,...
