I totally wouldn't spend the money on a brand new car for college. More than likely like drdisque said someone is going to puke in your car. Maybe you can convince your dad to get you a beater now and a sweet ride when you graduate. I had a used ford escort wagon (killer ride with the ladies) and it worked great to haul people, beer, and also all my crap to home and back when the semester was done.
