The owner's manual has service intervals. They are set up for two things: 1) to be VERY conservative so they cover their a$$es when it comes to warranty repairs, and 2) even MORE conservative to make you think you have to spend money at the dealer for service.

There is no set "service" time. Oil changes can be anywhere from 2000-15,000 depending on the vehicle, its use, and the oil you use. Tire rotation is heavily dependent on FWD/RWD/4WD as well as the type of tire and how you use it. Air filters might need to be changed every 2000 or every 100,000 depending on how you use it.
