Obviously new to the forums so your help is appreciated. I tried the search function with no luck so I am posting my issue here.
I have an 87 GMC jimmy with a TBI fueled 5.7. recently it started stalling at idle whether in gear or not and wont restart till it sits for about a day. After restart I get about five minutes of idle before process repeats. When it starts to stumble if I press on the gas it stays running, but as soon as I let off it dies and wont restart till I let it sit overnight or use starting fluid. I am hoping its just a fuel filter or something easy, but figuredI would get yalls thoughts first.
