2013 Focus 2.0L - How to get battery out and back in?

I bought my 2013 Focus new in April 2013. The battery in it has never been changed. It sits halfway under the firewall cowl. Take the battery box cover off and you can only see 3 of the 6 cell caps. Looks totally unserviceable and unremoveable.

With about 20,000 miles on the car, I took it to the Ford dealer and asked if they could show me how to get the battery out of the car. They sent a guy out who made an attempt to show me, but got rather rough with the box after a couple minutes of little success, so I stopped him and decided to go elsewhere to get an answer.

I have no reason to get the battery out now, as it still performs just like new, and always has. I just want to be able to monitor its condition occasionally with a hydrometer, fluid level, and voltage. I cannot get a hydrometer into the 3 rear cells, nor see the fluid level without getting the battery out of the car...!

I love this car -- especially after Ford repaired under warranty the well-known transmission shudder problem and replaced the main oil seal at about 5000 miles on the odometer. With it's 2.0L, 12:1 compression GGD engine, this Focus has achieved as much as 51 mpg over a 20-mile two-way test run I have made many times over the last few years.

My question -- Can anyone here direct me to some instructions for removing and replacing the battery....??

Thanks much...!
