Exhaust have been coming along today. I've only ever done a tiny bit of heat staining before so I was a bit nervous about trying it - only one way to learn though!
As it happens, I'm pleased with the results and not dissimilar to some reference pictures I have. I might do a bit more work on them, but will leave it for the moment to have a think about it.
It's Alclad chrome, with various Alcad clear colours over the top. Weld seams were masked with thin strips of Tamiya tape and a couple of tiny blobs of Blu-Tack in places.
