Thank you guys for the kind words. It was really fun to build this model and experiment with the weathering. Keefr22, you've got the point, as I was always jealous of the armor models for their worn and dirty look, I wanted to try to replicate the weathering on some rally models as the original cars were often extremely dirty.
The Safari Celica gave a perfect base for experimenting - yet being far from perfect, it gave me some ideas and directions to go - and not to overdo it, although there are some good reference for that as well
