94 model with 64k miles. Recently the car started to randomly shift from OD to 3 and back again. No rumble strip feeling. No engine light. OD light doesn't flash. Just shifts that feel normal, but way too many of them, and only happens at random intervals.
The MLPS is working as it should, and is aligned properly. The TPS ( FILPS ) checks as a textbook example.
The only issue that I found was an alarming amount of ATF saturating the solenoid pack plug, and the harness plug.
Now, in my mind this leak is likely caused by a seal or O ring that has perished, randomly allowing fluid pressure to fluctuate, causing the intermittent random shifts.
What are your thoughts on this issue??
