Yep, you are correct. Fuel costs a lot more over here then in the US, so 7 out of 10 cars you see over here are Diesels. Personnaly I wouldn't buy a diesel powered car from Honda because that's totally out of their ballpark (I know the 6th gen diesel Civic sedans had a lot of problems).
