Today I tested my TPS and it seems to be operating properly. I used a multimeter and the numbers went up nicely when i opened the throttle with just the key on. no jumping around in voltage. Finally got my throttle body gasket and am finishing that up to see if the problem still persists. Could the TPS still be defective even though it tests good? I have a new one, but if i open the package it cannot be returned. New one does not have the spring in it. NOTE: this engine is exact same as 96 Monte Carlo Z34. Somebody PLEASE HELP!!!!
