I know a small block Chevy will fit so I don't see why a ka24de wouldn't. Make sure you check the length of the engine (flywheel to front pulleys). Width of engine seems to be no problem but length is tight.
I also know a rotary engine fits just fine.
Make sure the engine spins the correct direction.
