I hope I've put this in the right place.
I have a 1998 Omega 2.5 V6 ecotech saloon. My cat went last week, but only rattles on tick over.
The problem I am having is the engine seems to be restricted. I get a whooshing noise when I put my foot down, but the car doesn't seem to run as fast, or feel as fast. I've only had the car a month, and no nothing of these cars.
Before the cat went, it went like a rocket. But now all I get is a whooshing or hissing noise, and it just doesn't feel right anymore.
Can anyone throw any light on the subject?
