The kit brake discs looked decent, but there were no ventilation channels so I decided to make new ones.
The calipers are also rediculous for such a big scale kit. They are not visible from the outside !
This means that when you look through the spokes of the wheel there will only be a brake disc, no caliper.
But more on the calipers later. Now on to the front discs:

First I made 4 discs out of styrene by just rough-shaping by a knife, then drilled a hole through all four discs.
Then I bolted them together with an M2 bolt and nut which I put in a drill machine and sanded them circular.
Then I marked the ventilation holes (pic 1).
I drilled a pilot hole and inserted a small pin to keep all four discs exactly positioned (pic2).
And then there was a whole lot of drilling.. but the nice thing is you get 4 identical discs.
This also means any mistake is aslo visible on all four
In pic 4 you can se the intermediate piece, the ventilation channels, of the discs.
