I would have to guess that there would be two "models" of every Defender. One would be the stripped down version for off road and to compete with the Wrangler, probably priced from $20k
, and then there would be a "luxury" model, much more appointed, possibly from about $30k.
There are two schools of thought on how the new US Defender will effect the '94, '95, and '97 Defender 90 prices. Some say the cost will come way down, due to a larger supply, while others say the price will go up, labeling how the "old" D-90s will be considered classics, almost a sort of "limited edition" type of thing. I am pretty split as to what I think on this issue.
