Street racing isn't dangerous.

Not knowing how to drive is dangerous.

Being 17 and making stupid decisions about when/where to race is dangerous.

Not knowing when to let off versus when to show off is dangerous.

But I haven't seen anyone ever get hurt at our small, organized midnight runs in the middle of nowhere. I have, on the other hand, seen people injured and killed at race tracks.

There's a safe way to do things, and a stupid way to do things. Most 17-24 year olds racing choose the stupid way, and it's unfortunate.
