Re: Re-iNVisioned '32 Roadster

Here's an update on the iNVision Roadster build! Getting close to the end...

Buckets welded up and metal finished...taillights installed!

The door skins have been set and final metal finishing has taken place on areas between the body and doors for a consistent 3/16"(heavy) gap. To achieve this gap a spacing tool was created and is slid along the seams as they're being adjusted.

Moving forward with the interior... mocking up the tunnel and dash.

Body also gets a 'turn' to finish the underside.

Reassembled the body's exterior panels, setting gaps and touching up some details. When everything has been addressed the car will be blown apart for primer, surface enhancer and finally paint.

Blocking out the roadster's body...most of the highbuild will end up on the floor. We're in the home stretch!

New seats arrived last week. And while they fit the roadster's floor well, we discovered that the tunnel cover would need to be narrowed up a bit. Will probably fab a new one rather than modify the existing.

An overall view of the roadster with the new seats. The owner has the option to remove the head rests if he wishes to.

Thanks for checking out the progress.
