I'm still debating that one. The used CRF450s are just too dogged out so I have been looking at the 2007 model. A dealer up in Deming, NM where we bought my son's first Honda XR100 and subsequently a Yamaha YZ85 has them for an "out the door" price of $6199.00. No sales tax either since I'm in Texas. Only a 120 mile drive. Would make a nice X-Mas present but I don't plan on racing it like my CR250R. I'm getting too old now.
BTW - I can barely handle the CR since the engine was redone by Pro Circuit.
