I agree, always use a fresh blade - No11's work best - and you wont need to apply much pressure as the Pman mentioned. Do this and it is possible to cut through the tape and leave no mark on the paint at all. If you do scratch the paint underneeth, it doesnt matter coz its gonna be covered with black anyway!
