actually aftermarket leather is usually higher quality than factory leather on inexpensive cars and will usually carry a long warranty (at least as long as the factory warranty) just make sure you negotiate the price on the leather because the dealership will mark it up big time. I wouldn't pay more than 900-1000 for a good leather interior. That seems kind of odd on the emissions as I thought all of them were 50 state legal. You may just have to do with the non S/C version (that's what I have and it's fine)
