I have an 09 Malibu with the 4cyl engine. There is oil leaking form somewhere around the filter cap or the housing. Just recently changed the oil and filter and there is oil in the bellows between the filter cap and the engine. The cap doesn't appear to be leaking and I have changed the o-ring every time I change the oil. I clean the area out but there always seems to be oil accumulating there. Is there a common problem with these cars dealing with oil leaks around the filter or could it be coming from somewhere else? I have looked and can not find the source of the leak. Any assistance would be appreciated.
