my dad's car ac quit working. he did some troubleshooting and found compressor wouldn't come on. he was able to get it to start by running wire directly to compressor, bypassing the switch. I was trying to get hold of some schematics of the system for him. Is the compressor run off a relay? he is thinking just putting in a switch to run the compressor and not ripping out the dash to replace the factory ac control. I might be able to check it out and figure out the wiring, but I live over 3 hours away and just can't get back there. anyone have any idea how to get the schematics for the heat/ac system?
