I've been doing a batch of priming and basecoating, nothing worth posting pictures of.

But here's how I make the banjo connectors found on the end brake hoses.

Take a piece of cable of the right diameter, then drill a small hole through the sheath that's left. Place a tiny drop of thick CA glue over the hole. Thin will dry to quickly and not give you time if the rod doesn't fit in properly at the first attempt! Then insert a piece of plastic rod through the hole and let it dry. Carefully cut either side of the rod and fill the hole each side of rod with a drop of CA.

You could of course place a scale bolt through the hole at the last stage instead of filling it. I'm going to use a P.E. bolt head over the filled hole.
