Have you tried looking on eBay? They have service manuals for Ventures every once in awhile. Also you can find less expensive copies of the Haynes manual. I wouldn't pay the $22 to $27 some are selling these books for.:
I've even seen factory repair manuals on CD for sale on eBay.
