I just bought a 1999 Tacoma - 2WD regular cab non-prerunner body style - and noticed the back of the bed is leaning to the left. I looks like the left rear leaf spring is flattened and the rear leaf springs will need to be replaced. I want to get used stock springs to replace the existing ones. I need to find out which year tacomas I can take stock springs from to put into my 1999. 1997-2000 Tacomas have the same leaf spring Toyota part number for the 2WD regular cab non-prerunner body style, so should work for my 1999 Tacoma, but what about leaf springs from 2001-2004 Tacoma with 2WD regular cab non-prerunner body style? The 2001-2004 springs have different Toyota part numbers than the 1999 springs. Will the leaf springs from 2001-2004 2WD regular cab non-prerunner body style Tacomas also fit my 1999 Tacoma with the same body style?
