I have a 1992 E150 351 that won't fire. When I was backing up the other day it died and the "amp" light came on. After that it would crank, but not turn over. I smelled something electronic, ozone,
from under the dash but could not find anything hot or burning. I had it towed to the dealer who said it was the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel solenoid (?). I wanted to know if any of the fuel electronic equipment is located under the dash near the fuse box or steering column. I don't have a book for this van yet because we're in between paychecks and that's why I'm here. Can anyone help confirm the dealers findings?
Thanks.
