Looks like a V6 model, 3.0 ltr if memory serves correctly. I've never owned one of those so I'm not as familiar with that one - but I'm sure they can be beefed up as well. I always considered the Daytona to be an extremely under-rated car with a really, really bad rep from previous models. IMHO they got better as the model years went up and they were cancelled in the prime of their life. Of course, everybody knows that the Stratus is oh-so-more performance, right?
(No offense to Stratus owners intended - I'm just bitter that they cancelled my Daytona in favor of it.)
Seriously though, if you're curious there are a ton of resources around about these cars, but you will want to concentrate your searching to the 89-ish+ model years as anything earlier has little bearing on your investigation. Be sure to check out the IROC R/T model if you stumble across it though - they are very, very fast. Of course, they are quite rare as well. I still kick myself for selling mine! Grrr..
