Audi TT "quattro"

Hello, this is my first thread on this site so i'm still trying to get used to the interface. Anyways, I created this thread because, I wanted to get some of your opinions on the Haldex system used in the Audi TT for quattro, compared to the Torsen differential used in almost every other model with quattro. Personally, I feel that the Torsen system is much better than the Haldex system. The Torsen system is true Audi quattro compared to the Haldex which seems to be a rip-off solution to adding "quattro" to transversely mounted engines. The Haldex system has a considerable amount of lag when engaging which leads to unpredictable handling characteristics. I am sure Audi could have found a way to work in the Torsen differential on the TT but took the easy way out. What do you guys think? Should they have used the Torsen differential or the Haldex?
