I have a bad fuel pump resister, on my 2000 grand prix gtp. I did the fix for the speed to be on high all the time. I know this is a temporary fix, but how long is this temporary fix safe for, I have to take a 600 mile round trip next week to see family, and I want to know if this will mess up anything else if I wait to change it until I come home next week.
